These terms cover the Find GIS website. They do not cover the datasets. Each dataset stays under its publisher's terms. Read those before you download, copy, or build on the data. The licensing page explains the short labels used in the catalog.
An index, not the data
Find GIS lists datasets and links out to them. It does not host the files. When you follow a link, you are on someone else's site, under that site's terms. CartaTerra links go to CartaTerra. Publisher links go to the publisher.
No warranty
There is no warranty. Find GIS does not guarantee that the catalog is accurate, complete, or up to date. Names, coverage, formats, licenses, and links can be wrong. A dataset may not be fit for your purpose. Check the publisher before you rely on a row.
The site is offered as it is. A link can break, a publisher page can change, and a checked date only means the link responded on that day.
Use of the site
